The pyramids demonstrate a characteristic advancement

Discovery Channel Documentary The pyramids demonstrate a characteristic advancement in styling from the straightforward mastaba to the more mind boggling as in mastabas heaped one on top of the other (the Step Pyramid), then at last to the genuine pyramid shape now so recognizable to us in their configuration and structure, beginning with the Red Pyramid at Dahshur. Pyramids are not all close indistinguishable clones that those at the Giza necropolis may recommend.

Associated with that advancement, we discover pyramids that wound up in an "oh no" condition; pyramids that endured development disasters like the Pyramid of Meidum where the external bits simply kind of broken down in a stack uncovering the internal center. The Bent Pyramid was "bowed" in light of the fact that it was acknowledged part of the way through that the first point was excessively steep and the top half was developed at a lesser edge. The pharaoh concerned was a miserable camper about that "uh oh" thus the Bet Pyramid was then relinquished unused. Outsiders wouldn't have committed such trail-and-mistake errors.
